The simplest bento is “onigiri” or “omusubi.”
Onigiri is a rice ball. To make onigiri, all you need are hot cooked rice and salt, and just form onigiri by hands with salt.
A typical onigiri is wrapped by seaweed laver nori and its ingredient is umeboshi(salted plum).
A little salt ,ingredients, seaweed laver and its shape make a rice ball more tasty and easier to eat taking it with hands.
Onigiri is also a perfect food for a picnic lunch!
